About the project

The Israeli Intelligence Corps (Aman), a vital branch of the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), recognized the need to modernize its operational capabilities through a user-centric mobile application. The application aimed to streamline intelligence gathering, analysis, and dissemination processes while ensuring intuitive user experience (UX) for military personnel. Over the course of six months, a collaborative effort between the Aman officers, a dedicated technical development team, and UX designers was undertaken to achieve this objective.

Approach

User Research

The UX design team conducted extensive user research, including interviews, surveys, and observational studies, to understand the unique challenges and requirements of Aman officers in their daily tasks.

Prototyping and Iteration

Rapid prototyping was employed to translate user insights into tangible designs. Wireframes and interactive prototypes were iterated upon based

Collaborative Design Sessions

Regular design workshops were conducted with Aman officers, allowing for co-creation and validation of design concepts. This collaborative approach fostered ownership and ensured the final product resonated with end-users.

Usability Testing

Iterative usability testing sessions were conducted with representative users to identify pain points, usability issues, and areas for improvement. Feedback from these sessions was instrumental in refining the user interface and enhancing overall user experience.

Security and Compliance

Security considerations were paramount throughout the design and development process. The application adhered to strict military standards for data encryption, access control, and secure communication protocols.
